This website (electalexturner.com) is the official campaign site for Alex Turner for Spartanburg County Council. We respect your privacy, and we keep things simple.
What We Collect
This website does not automatically collect personal information from your visit. It has no user accounts, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or ad trackers.
We only have the information you choose to share with us — for example, when you contact us by phone or email, when you donate, or when you opt in to receive text messages (see the Text Messaging section below). We use that information only to respond to you and communicate about the campaign.
Donations
Donations are processed by Anedot, a third-party donation platform. We never see or store your payment card details. Information you provide when donating (such as your name, address, employer, and occupation) is collected as required by South Carolina campaign finance law and may appear in public campaign finance disclosures. Text Messaging (SMS) & Mobile Information
If you opt in to receive text messages from Alex Turner for County Council, you consent to receive campaign updates at the mobile number you provide. Donations may be solicited. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. See our full SMS Terms of Service for details.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opt-in information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never sold or shared for any other purpose.
Third-Party Services
Like most websites, this site loads a few resources from third parties — fonts from Google Fonts and styling tools from a content delivery network. When your browser loads these, those providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address. Our web host also keeps routine server logs. We don't use any of this to identify or track you.
This site links to outside websites (like Facebook and Anedot). Once you leave our site, their privacy practices apply, not ours.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
